Dear Abdalians,
It is a distinct honor and privilege to welcome you to our website. As President for 2026, I am deeply committed to building upon the proud legacy established by the past presidents and leaders of our alumni association.
Our association exists to strengthen and sustain the lifelong bond between our alumni and our alma mater. Whether you graduated decades ago or only recently, you remain an integral part of our shared heritage—a heritage defined by excellence, integrity, and service.
This platform serves as a bridge connecting our alumni community: to one another, to current cadets, and to the future of Cadet College Hasanabdal. Through reunions, mentorship initiatives, professional networking, and service-oriented programs, we seek to foster meaningful engagement and give back to the institution that played a formative role in our lives.
As President, I invite you to take an active role in our association—by sharing your ideas, contributing your expertise, and participating in our collective efforts. Together, united by our values and guided by our shared purpose, we can honor our past while shaping an even brighter future for generations to come.
Warm regards,
Usman Bhutta

Cadet College Hasanabdal is one of the finest high schools in Pakistan. It is the first cadet college in Pakistan and was established by the government of Punjab at the initiative of General Muhammad Ayub Khan, the then Commander In Chief of the Pakistan Army, originally to serve as a feeder institution to the Armed Services Academies. For this purpose, Military Wings were started in 1952 in Government College, Sahiwal and Islamia College, Peshawar. On the completion of buildings at the present location, the Military Wings were shifted to Hassan Abdal and the Cadet College started functioning as Punjab Cadet College in April 1954. In 1960, the government constituted a Board of Governors to exercise administrative control over the college. Hugh Catchpole was the founder Principal of the College. The college is located on the Rawalpindi/Peshawar road about 29 miles (48 km) from Rawalpindi/Islamabad, in natural surroundings near the junction of the National Highway and Hazara Trunk Road.
